“ 5 star lunch. Cold water and banchan is brought out to the table almost immediately as you look through the menu. Bibimbap: 5 stars The rice is hot, fresh and of good quality - perfectly cooked. The beef is perfectly seasoned, cooked tender and very, very good. Bean sprouts, shredded carrots, greens, zucchini and kimchi round out this dish. The bibimbap sauce is sweet and savory, just as it should be. They bring out extra bibimbap sauce and chili sauce (reminds me of sambal) to add to your dish. I would order the bibimbap again as this was a 5 stars dish. Service: 5 star Great service, kind, helpful waiter there to guide you through the menu and help you make a decision. The place is charming, simple, clean. Kpop videos play on a screen and the overall vibe is authentic korean and very casual. come check this place out. ”
“ Decided to go out for an early lunch at K Pop today. This turned out to be one of those quaint hole-in-the-wall eateries in a vintage Cathedral City strip mall. It's nothing fancy. It's where one goes for authentic Korean food in the Desert. First understand this is real Korean, not the barbeque and/or Korean fried chicken geared for American tastes. You will note the majority of their clientele come from Los Angeles or an area well versed in Korean food. I love real Korean food. I'm upset I did not try this place sooner. Had I known how good it really is I would have been here on their opening day. Tteok-bokki $12.99 Rice cake, fish cake and vegetables, Korean chili paste, Add boiled egg($2.00) This was delicious. The fish cakes were packed with flavor, the chili paste sauce was to die for. The flavors were intense. I came close to licking the bowl. Glad I added a boiled egg. The egg worked with the spicy sauce. While they consider this an appetizer it worked perfectly as a lunch entree. I was in Tteok-bokki heaven. Accompanying my Tteok-bokki was kimchi and taguan. Both were delicious, they were kind enough to bring us seconds. TERRA Beer (large) $9.99 We split a delicious ice-cold Korean beer. Perfect to offset the spice. Beef with assorted vegetables, egg mixed with rice / Vegetarian and non spicy available option for Bibimbap $18.99 Dan had their delicious Bibimpap with beef. The beef was buttery and tender, packed with flavor. I ate some of his which I enjoyed immensely. Huge portion, perfect for sharing. Service was excellent. My guess is the server is the owner. Will definitely be frequenting K Pop with regularity. I could eat this type of food every day. ”
“ Everything we tasted was quality. The Gimbap was delicious, My husband stew was flavorful and full of meat and vegetables. He very much enjoyed it. I had the simple Pork cutlet and Curry with carrots and potatoes and it really hit the spot. A±+ The service and ambience was super. There's enough tables for a small crowd. They always greet you cheerfully when you arrive. Since I'm a K-pop enthusiast it was nice to see they had two tvs dedicated to music videos and many posters repping a lot of different groups. The whole experience was fantastic and will definitely return many more times. You ”
“ K Pop Foodz is a nice addition to the Palm Springs area. They have a nice selection of Korean dishes on the menu. We enjoyed the Combo Spicy Rice Cake + Kimbap Roll (C3). The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant's walls are fittingly lined with posters of K Pop idols which is fun to see. ”
“ Hidden gem in the desert! The food is absolutely delicious. Lots of flavor and generous portions. It's a mom and pop place, so the food is a must try for anyone in the area. The vibe and ambiance is very kpop. They have a few posters and music playing. Very korean haha. Service was also great. The food came out fast, and there were constant check-ins to make sure everything was good. Definitely a must try! Will be back to try other dishes. ”
“ Delicious Kimchi Fried Rice and Kimchi Stew. A small mom and pop shop in a not very fancy strip mall. But come for the good food, wonderful service and cute atmosphere with simple tables and KPOP videos playing on the tvs. They have Soju and beer too. ”
“ Wowzeers! This cozy gem is worth it! Everything was just lovely and on point. Highly recommend trying a variety of dishes with your party. The service was great and everyone was super happy. ”
“ I was surprised to find a Korean restaurant that was authentic out in the desert area, but I'm so glad this place has open! I came with my best friend on a yearly Palm Springs trip and we wanted Korean food. There was a large party inside, but the employees were very kind in getting our table ready as soon as possible. We had a short wait of 10 minutes. The food was authentic and hit the spot. I would only be careful with the scissors because they were placed on top of the sizzling plate and some of the plastic melted onto the food. Obviously we took it off and did not eat that! Lol ”
“ Oh how I have been looking for an authentic Korean restaurant in the greater PSP area. Was kind of skeptical about this place cause the look of the outside with all the curtains down. But that just keeps the place cool from the desert sun. Walked in to this place and felt like I stepped into a k pop bar with amazing food selections. Ordered the kimbap roll which was the perfect appetizer. The side of kimchi and ginger added a huge amount of taste level to it. And was able to get it refilled. Then later had my second choice the bibimbap. I really wanted to try the pork tonkatsu with the yellow curry but they were out of pork. So I know it's good for sure and will be back for it. Over all great experience and the service was quick and fast and very attentive. ”
